Actually, I’ve seen them on deviantART. I thought it was kinda weird too. :\

On forums that were set up for use by myself and a group of old high school friends. Nowhere public that has more than two dozen unique visitors, actually.

I’m a woman in an arts-related field, in my thirties, married…I have no clue what’s going on here except that this is some kind of ‘game,’ possibly related to a movie. I got a package but it’s pretty much identical to what the rest of you received except for a blue sticker on the back and a very strong smell of paint/glue on the glasses.
I’m not really sure what I’m doing here but I guess I’ll find out eventually!

Curiousgal, could you possibly post some more details about the sticker? Is it just plain blue, or is there a design?

Curiousgal, going through your prior posts, you also mentioned a blank e-mail… is there anyway you could forward that? or possible highlight the e-mail itself to reveal whether or not there is white text in it? And did you get the package in a small envelope? big box? business or home address…etc.

Welcome to the ward, was your package the standard on given. Did you send you address to THEM or was it a surprise?

It could be that the unexpected packages were sent to buisiness owners so over 30 would fit.

Verdi, do you own a business or do anything…er…eye-related??

My package was a surprise but I work for a company that does stuff like this so that could be why I got one. It was a white padded envelope with two stamps (liberty with eyes whited out). It contained a card with “i am blind” embossed on it and “i am bl” in braille. It also contained two pairs of rolled up sunglasses that say iamblind.org on them.

juana, welcome. Art of the blind? I’d imagine there’s a lot of interesting textures there? is it like mixed media kind of thing? sounds interesting.

hi! yup. i use tar, polyuerethane, sand, joint compound, paint…lots of stuff. the polyuerethane is glossy and smooth, while tar is rough and the sand is…sandy. i started making the paintings two years ago. they are always in box form.
