The Conclusions

just to be on the safe side i think we should use this thread to put down all our conclusions and things we know about the virus before we send them in. it would also be good to get everyone(or mostly everyone) to agree before we send the idea in after all were all in this together XD

i think we should be careful about who is talking… it was mentioned on argn.net that some ig users might try to infiltrate the forum and spread the blindness… be careful

OOoooOOoo so we have to be extremly careful who we talk to.

We can rule out as infiltrators anyone who posts at the other site because infiltrators can’t post there. It’s a good way to rule out people. Anyone who hasn’t joined there, we’d love to have you. :-)

so what do we know so far guys?

It’s not deadly.
It’s an infection of some kind.
(More added when I leave class)

and the people started to go blind after they saw the doctor….

A conspiracy maybe?

i started to think that but then it’s everyone getting infected. not just certain people.

Maybe that is the point, not to infect any specific group, but infect as many overall people as possible.

but why? lol we need a motive…. i get the feeling that whoever is quarintining people is the cause of this

Quarantine could just be the exploitation of a natural phenomenon.

what if someone caused this on purpose and this everyone in the ward is basically ginny pigs? like they are seeing what effects this disease has?

i started to think the eye doctor/s? if there was more than one that people went to see.

The TV trailers for the movie say something about a government coverup. Sooooo….. ot really that helpful in the search for a cure, but interesting none the less.

Even non-government sponsored or caused events are covered up.

perhaps one of the doctors infected a patient by accident and decided to try and cover it up by infecting others? the government could be in on it to beause they didn’t want a lawsuit?
perhaps a long shot but who knows =P

It says we must study Audrey to get answers. But, there hasnt been much information from her.
Any ideas on how to study her?

I found the ‘white blindness’ disease in rabbits to be quite interesting. It was introduced to thin out the population…however after only one generation the infection wasn’t nearly as potent and didn’t kill all that many rabbits. There is definitely something sinister going on that got out of hand. I’m thinking along the lines of the St. Mary’s virus in V for Vendetta, lol. Bilogical warfare on one’s own country?

I’m really intrigued by the idea of population control, I think it’s the right track, especially since the only other reports of specifically white blindness (at least that I’ve found) involved the rabbits for population control.

So, this mysterious group of people have turned the entire world into their own petri dish…maybe some of the eye doctors were in on it and knowingly transmitted the disease??

Love that movie. Love V, more specifically xD God, if I could find a guy who could quote literature to me like that…I’d happily torch a few government buldings for him, lol.
Anyway! waaaaaay off topic.

I’ll be interested to see if we find any other evidence pointing to anything about rabbits or population control…that would be a major clue. And it’s certainly possible that a number of eye doctors were in on it – though, I have to point out, the woman who can see in the book is the wife of an eye doctor who became infected. It’s safe to assume that no one was spared from the disease, however, it probably wasn’t planned for the doctors to become victims as well.

maybe the eye doctors didnt do as much as we think. because its possible to still get the disease when we come into contact with the infected

That’s very true guiltyspark, Audrey told us the mysterious voice/s didn’t cause the outbreak. But I certainly don’t trust them. Just because they didn’t start it, doesn’t mean they might not benefit from it somehow…


also, as a side note, I do encourage all of you who haven’t done so to at least register at the out of game forum so we will have an easier time distinguishing players from the ‘infiltrators’ we have been warned against, should they attempt to undermine our efforts. (:

It does seem like they’re getting something from it. Using Audrey as a test subject and forcing us to work under their rules…

maybe they want to use the infection for control….maybe there having us find the cure or find out why it happens that way they can say to other countries give us what we want or your all going to go blind…..

I’m definitely thinking biological warfare. Maybe they thought the best way to test it’s effect, and see how fast we could develop a cure, was to unleash it on their own people.

when you say their own people i assume your talking about a government infecting their people right? well i dont think thats it because the president got infected also….and i think they are the ones that put us here
