The Ward's Task to Govern Their Own
If it’s our task to “Govern our own” then I say non contributing members should stop posting confusing, irrelevant, or unhelpful (in)valid “clues.” |
Agreed! |
I Concure, How do you suppose we govern? |
Thank you, myopic. This will be addressed immediately. Standby for clearance. |
Without any tools to govern, it’s hard to govern.
I mostly mean spammers or those who think it’s funny to post threats on this forum.. Or those who have claimed to receive foodstuff in their envelopes… |
Lol. Deleted my old post, sorry. |
We need to make sure we do not become tyranical. |

With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility … |

I’m all for newcomers, we were told new people would arrive and it seems packages were mailed out to some who didn’t know what was going on here, that’s fine… that’s really the point, but it’s quality control as you said. It’s especially difficult in a situation where clues might be anywhere… but I think some stuff is just posting for shits and giggles. I’m pretty sure these sort of antics kept me from navigating this forum for about 20 minutes, and I think that’s unacceptable. |
I think we are getting enough new traffic that it might be a good idea to start a welcome thread for new members and to help orient them. I believe we can ‘sticky’ new threads as well. |
Let me see Cousinsteve…
I will answer any question about the box you want. I have it right here. The emails could have been jokes from friends if it isn’t the I AM BLIND folks. |
I agree with myopic, that we do need some system of regulating useres and posts. However, we have experienced a flood of new users lately, especially because of the unexpected packages. Some of these people may not be familiar with online community etiquite, and we need to be understanding of that. |
Myopic means that because yours was different from the first few that were received. |
Mypmic, have you recieved any sort of clearence yet? |
steve – that’s just the 2D barcode associated with the custom printed stamp. Random chance if it looks like anything. |
i just mean that because of the nature of what this is, it doesn’t seem smart to put a swastika on anything (unless it’s a clue)
@jason, not that i know of… maybe I should be expecting a call? no e-mail, no change. Only change since seems to be a new forum titled “sounds” |
Mrtoasty—-the cross is too perfect for it to be random. Swastika? Possible. |
Speaking of governing posts, what’s with the user ‘demonwing’? Do we think he is IG or just some douche? |
Dunno…Mod didn’t delete his posts, but on the other hand that was the last we heard of him so far. |
some douche, except of his I can see posts, there’s is nothing left.. |
If, as Toasty says, you are talking about the 2D, then it is totaly random. Given that it’s made up of square blocks, some patterns will emerge. I mean even Mike Huckabee’s bookshelves made that mistake :p The barcode on the print-your-own-stamp type is regulated by the US postal and the barcode conveys information about when the stamp was created, and the serial number of your software program, etc.. if you are suggesting that they have been tampered with, I don’t think they would risk a 5yr stretch. |
some of you might want to check out the sounds forum (saki, mrtoasty) |
I will glaldy govern all y’all |
hey, i got a package too! |

id be in favor of that |
I know I’m still kinda new, but that does sound like a good idea. |
