Blindess Movie Coming Out Oct 3rd.

Comes out in 2 days here in the US. Can’t wait to see it!
Although the thing that disturbs me is this:
Rated R for violence including sexual assaults, language and sexuality/nudity.
Sexuality/nudity!? Why would they need this in a movie like THIS!? What does sex have to do with being blind?

Blind people need lovin’, too!

You know, rexm…I heard a female gets raped too…

the movies is not only about blindness, but also about how society crashs in times of crisis… well, and even in that time, love can develope or people need eachother to hold, kiss, have sex etc well and they don’t just need in a romantic way…blind people can do crimes to, that’s why the movie was under fire, because of the presentation of the blind society.. but turning blind from minute to another is an emergency situation, people going crazy etc..

It doesn’t seem to me so much about a blind society but rather about the good and evil that comes from extreme situations where people are gripped by fear or more base instincts. The blindness is just a vehicle to show what happens when normal societal rules fall away.
I still want to help those of us infected and well as to prevent the others from getting the sickness.
