These individuals have been chosen as Ward Representatives and are now enabled to moderate the Sounds Forum. This is not an infection forum. This is a place away from the masses of The Ward that they may govern in a manner they see fit.
In addition, they have the ability to add names to the list below of members they believe may be infected.

it’s tough to determine what is to be deemed suspected of infection if we don’t really know the cause of infection.

also, can we confirm whether or not non mods are able to post in this forum?

well, who is infected and not in quarantine, I believe there is no one.. receiving a package does not automatically mean you’re infected am I right?

codetony… infected members are to post only in quarantine. Mods informed us of who is infected… everytime someone infected posts in heard or everytime someone in heard posts in quarantine, the infection spreads. we went from 2.2% to 4% in the last (two?) days.

Do your new Mod Superpowers work on ‘heard’ and ‘quarentine’ as well?

sure but, the moderator would just post their name to show their infection (and they would go blind, duh.), but at the top of this topic, it reads:
“Persons Suspected of Infection:
-...”
which means some persons are infected and require suspicion to reveal their infection. why do we need to suspect if there is a clear list?

codetony, unsure if i’m understanding you right… but we don’t know what the result of our suspicions might be. If someone is suspected of infection, I’d imagine it would be up to the higher Mods to determine whether their infection is valid. The repercussions of an incorrect suspicious or a correct suspicion are not known, though we know from the “parable of the blind” post that usually wrong answers are punished. (wrong cure determinations will increase infected numbers)

Hey all, I still would like to warn against any tyranical behaviour. Lets still try to be inclusive as possible.

i think the mods are all cool people. I’m sure if any of us individually went out of line, any of the others could easily step in to check power.

A thought on a forum named Sounds and the notion of being blind. Aside from touching someone the only other real way of leading the blind is through sound.

When looking at a users profile, does any one know what the monitored posts are? Every time i click on it I get an error message.

unsure of what that would mean. i saw in the address bar that there was a ’@user’ in the tag but.. adding and user names did nothing

I think he perhaps merits further investigation. I mean, don’t griefers usually just post crap like, “OMFG! ! 1 ! U NOOBS R TEH SUXORS! ! 1 1 !”? His posts were so cryptic, and we haven’t heard from him since. If he is just griefing, he is a bit above 4chan’s league, thats for sure!
